What is the flower of York?
Yorkshire’s county flower is the harebell, or Campanula rotundifolia. The delicate blue petals of this beautiful wildflower give it an air of fragility, but it’s anything but, thriving in dry grassy places such as exposed sand dunes and windswept hills. We purchase our flowers direct from the flower auctions in Holland, cutting out several commission-taking middlemen along the way. We buy in reasonable volume, so we are able to get better prices on behalf of our customers. And we haven't got fancy, showy offices to support! Also, our flowers spend only a short period of time in our fridge before going out as we buy every day instead of once a week like the vast majority of florists. This all means that you will get better value flowers that have spent far less time in transit if you buy from Arena Flowers than you would almost anywhere else.

When will the flowers arrive?
Our general delivery times are between 8.00am and 6.00pm. We also offer timed delivery options, depending on the region you are sending to. These can be seen in our checkout.
What is the flower show in York?
Bloom! is the York Horticultural Festival, an annual celebration of all things gardening and flowers that sees the city bloom with flowers and colour.
